  • Hits: every attack with the weapon, even missed or blocked. Hits and damage on a training dummy do not count.
  • Damage: hits × weapon attack. Sword (attack 14), level 1: 14,000.
  • Monsters: any death within 1 minute of your weapon's last attack.
  • Specific: depends on the band (below); also counts as a monster.
  • Rares: from level 5, rare monsters (with a skull) of any species, with at least the stars the level asks: 1 star at 5 and 6, 2 stars at 7 and 8, black skull (3 stars) at 9 and 10. They count like monsters (questions).
  • Events: during an event every count goes up twice as fast: hits, damage, monsters, the specific monster and rares.
  • A goal met stops counting; leveling up resets everything.

Specific monster

The band comes from the attack, except bows: bow is medium, crossbow heavy, royal crossbow legendary. Their goal attack adds the weakest ammunition (bow 25; crossbow and royal crossbow 30). Wands are legendary, attack 1. In the window: Tier = band, Attack = goal attack.

What you get

  • Always: +1% damage per level, +10% at 10.
  • Type base: each level of a light or medium weapon (the bow included) also gives +0.1% damage with any weapon of the same type (sword, axe, club, distance or wand), heavy and legendary ones included, except itself: in its own hand it gives only the normal bonus. +1% per weapon at level 10, no cap: five weak weapons at 10 give +5% to the whole type. Heavy and legendary weapons give no base. The window shows each type's base.
  • One choice per level: +1% critical hit chance (double damage), attack speed or double bash chance.
  • Only with the weapon in hand. Change redoes the whole weapon's picks for the current level's fee.
  • Level 10: title Master of + weapon name (Master of Spike Sword), seen by whoever looks at you and on your profile on the site (titles).

Ranking in the window: Overall (top 20 sums of levels) and First masters (first to level 10 with each weapon, and when). No staff.

Frequently asked questions

Counting

Per character or account?

Per character.

Switching weapons loses progress?

No. Each weapon keeps its own.

Same name counts together?

Yes, with or without attributes.

Does a missed hit count?

Yes, even blocked. Damage counts only health taken.

Spells, runes or summons?

No. The monster needs your weapon's attack.

Bash, poison or fire from my pieces?

Bash extras add damage, not hits. Poison, fire and energy on the target do not count.

Do I need the final blow?

No. Attacking in the last minute is enough.

Party or shared kill?

Counts for everyone whose weapon attacked in the last minute.

Two weapons on one monster?

Both count, if both attacked in the last minute.

Rare monster?

Counts as the common one, and from level 5 also as a rare.

Hits and damage on players?

Count, as on monsters. Killing them does not.

Does the specific count as a monster?

Yes.

Does extra carry over?

No. Leveling up resets everything.

How does a wand count?

Attack 1: damage equals hits, Legendary band.

Does ammunition count for the bow?

Yes. Switching arrows does not change the goals.

How long does it take?

Hits alone, one every 2 s: ~33 min at level 1, 36 h at 10, 112 h in all. Monsters take longer.

Does dying cost progress?

No.

Where do I see progress?

In the window, picking the weapon. It updates by itself.

Rares

Which rares count?

Any species, with at least the stars of the level you are after: 1 or more at levels 5 and 6, 2 or more at 7 and 8, black skull (3 stars) at 9 and 10.

And a rare with more stars than asked?

It counts.

When does a rare count?

Like a monster: your weapon attacked it in its last minute. No final blow needed, and in a party it counts for everyone whose weapon attacked it.

Does it also count as a monster?

Yes, and as the specific monster if it is that species.

Rares before level 5 saved?

No.

Do player kills count?

No, not any more. The rares goal replaced the players one, and its count started from zero for everyone.

Gold and fee

Pay from the bank?

Yes: carried gold first, then the bank. The window adds both and shows what is missing.

Where does the gold go?

It leaves the game.

Bonus and title

Works from the backpack?

No, only in hand.

Does the type base add to the weapon's own bonus?

No. A light sword at 10 gives +10% with itself, and +1% with every other sword.

Stacks with my pieces?

Yes. Critical and speed add to pieces and premium; damage raises the weapon's hit.

Works for spells and runes?

No. Weapon attacks only, bash extras included.

Can I change a bonus?

Change re-picks every level of that weapon at once, and charges the fee of the level it is on. Progress stays.

And at level 10?

No more goals or fees. The first one there joins First masters.

Show or hide the title?

The first level 10 weapon turns it on. Swap with Use this title or the title button; hide with No title. It is the same choice as the collection titles: one at a time (titles).
