Boss event
A boss does not spawn on its own, has no fixed hour and does not come back
tomorrow. The day, the hour and the place are set beforehand — or the boss
drops out of nowhere. Whoever misses it, missed it.
Any creature on the island can be the boss, not only the biggest ones.
Who counts as a fighter
- Any damage to the boss makes you a fighter, and that is what the boss
achievements count. The prizes ask for more — see below.
- Healing alone does not count. Someone who kept the group alive the whole
fight but never touched the boss is not a fighter.
- Dying mid-fight does not undo it — you fought.
- Logging out right after does not undo it either.
- It counts per character, not per account.
What you get
- There are two prizes: a bag for the participants and a special prize for
one champion. Both are picked event by event, so they change.
- The participant bag goes to everyone who took at least 1% of the boss's
health. An event can ask for a bigger share, or hand the bag to anyone
who did any damage at all; the event page says which.
- The special prize goes to the hardest hitter, not to whoever landed
the last blow — a poison tick should not steal a fight.
- Some events draw the special prize instead, among everyone who took
at least a set share of the boss's health, shown on the event page. If
nobody reached that share, it goes to the hardest hitter.
- The boss loot is not left in the corpse. Everyone who took at least
1% of the boss's health rolls the whole loot list for themselves,
with the same chances, and what comes out goes to their Store Inbox.
- Prizes arrive in your Store Inbox at your next login. Offline during
the fight changes nothing.
- They never expire, and a full inbox does not eat them: the delivery is
tried again next login.
- Each character gets each prize at most once per event.
