Rookgaard is one small island, and the systems below are what keep giving you something to do on it: gear that drops already blessed, a bench that reshapes those blessings, and three different reasons to log in tomorrow.
Almost all of it happens inside the client, with no NPC involved. Houses are the exception: they run on chat commands and on the banker.
